National Medal Video: Weippe Public Library and Discovery Center

The Weippe Public Library & Discovery Center in Weippe, Idaho, was one of ten winners of the 2011 National Medal for Museum and Library Service. In this video interview, Director Terri Summerfield and community member Gradi Thomson talk about how the library benefits Weippe and how Gradi’s family has come to rely on it since relocating to the area.

Nominations for the 2013 National Medal for Museum and Library Service are due October 15, 2012. Anyone, including the staff and board of the museum or library, may submit the nomination.
